Barb is the Executive Director at Elves Special Needs Society.
She has worked in a variety of different capacities since beginning with Elves in 1991. Barb has a Bachelors Degree in Education and her Master’s of Science in Early Education and Administration.
She began as a Teacher at Elves, has spent time within the Adult Program as its Program Coordinator for 6 years, and was also the Principal of Elves’ School for 10 years.
Mitch is the Adult Program Director at Elves Special Needs Society.
He came to Elves in 1992 with a Masters in Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. In addition, he has extensive training in Human Resources and Preventative Behavioural Management.
Mitch begin with the Society as a Social Worker for Elves’ School until his appointment as the Adult Program Director.
Nicole is the Principal at Elves Special Needs Society.
She has been employed with Elves since 2009 and began as a Teacher within the Grades 1-12 classrooms. She transitioned into the role of Special Needs Consultant in 2013, and began her Principalship in September 2015.
Nicole also possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Education.
Brynn is the the FASD & Summer Respite Program Coordinator, and Family Oriented Program Coordinator.
She comes to the Society with 10 years experience supporting exceptional learner needs in various early education programs. Brynn has a special interest in deaf culture, and is proficient in American Sign Language. Additionally, she has supported parent/caregiver needs as a Family Support Worker.
Margaret is the Finance Director at Elves Special Needs Society.
She has been fundamental to Elves’ financial stability since June 1995.
Margaret possesses a Master’s in Business and Administrative Management, is a Certified Management Accountant, and has a Bachelor of Accounting Services from the University of Calgary.
